BioIn relationships, I am always the innocuous, substantially less cooler one. I am always friends with a hero, or someone who could be considered a hero. My close friends are the prettier, funnier, more talented, more interesting ones--the ones people gravitate to. I am the one who worries, the one who's lucky that the hero takes the time to be with anyway, because we all know sidekicks aren't exactly the coolest people in the world. I am the one who makes the hero look good because I'm substandard in comparison. In all of my relationships, I'm the Gene to their Finny; the Bess to their Nancy Drew; the Robin to their Batman.
